28 HOTEL ROOMS involves a novelist and an accountant who meet while they are travelling for work, and though they're both in relationships, their one-night stand(s) could become something more. Spanning several years involving these two persons of interest, a young man (Chris Messina) and a young woman (Marin Ireland), who after having a one night stand in a hotel room (and despite going on their different paths), continue to meet over the next several years in various different hotel rooms across the USA while they travel on business.



《28个旅馆房间》里讲述了一位小说家和一位会计因为出差而相识，尽管他们各自都有另一半了，但他们的一夜情会使事情变得更复杂。这两人对对方的兴趣持续了好几年，年轻男子Chris Messina和年轻女子Marin Ireland，在第一次酒店一夜情后（尽管之后便分道扬镳），之后好几年每次在美国各地出差都会在不同的酒店房间见面。


Despite both being involved with different people, the man (a struggling writer) and the woman, (an accountant) find their romantic trysts to be an exhilarating getaway from their everyday lives. But as they both mature and grow apart, we are left to wonder: will they ever learn that they may be soul-mates who are really meant for each other and their secret rendezvous could actually hint at something much more?! Personally, I found the film neither dramatically nor intellectually stimulating despite good chemistry between the lead actors, the characters weren't properly fleshed out, and the film's stripped-down, minimalist approach prevented a sense of getting any real insight into their lives.



尽管两人都与不同的人交往，但男人（一个苦苦挣扎的作家）和女人（一个会计）发现他们的浪漫约会是从日常生活中解脱出来的一种愉快的方式。但是他们都是成熟的人有着不同的人生，我们不禁要问：他们是否知道，他们可能是那种上天注定的灵魂伴侣，他们的秘密约会可能有着更多暗藏的含义？就我个人而言，我发现这部电影既没有戏剧性，也没有理智上的激励，尽管主角之间有良好的化学反应，角色并不具体化，电影的精简，极简主义的风格阻止了对他们的生活更进一步的洞察。



It left me feeling unimpressed, while praise is due for the quality of the acting but I couldn’t help but note a lack of any dramatic tension, drama, or passion in the characters' relationships with each other. A potentially interesting and original debut from first time Director Matt Ross, who later went on to Direct CAPTAIN FANTASTIC, starring Viggo Mortensen, which i do recommend seeing. [4/10]



所以我对这部电影不是很感兴趣，虽然人们对表演的质量赞不绝口，但我还是忍不住注意到剧中人物之间的关系缺乏强烈的紧张感、戏剧感或激情感。这部有着潜在趣味和原创性的电影是由第一次当导演的Matt Ross执导的电影处女作，他后来执导了由Viggo Mortensen领衔主演的《神奇队长》，这确实是一部推荐观看的电影。 观后感 http://www.guanhougan.cc/ghg600z/22689.html
